Bearson – Pink Medicine (Manila Killa)

About a month back, Bearson released some of the best half step music we had heard in a while, and to say its heavenly vocal chops and accompanying harmonies were on point would be an understatement. So when Manila Killa heard the track, he knew it had some star remix potential. Thus the remix was born, and we couldn’t be more ecstatic. 

Manila Killa’s take on the track retains the core vocal chop that acts as the hook, but what he does with the backing instrumentals is what takes it to that next level. Adding vibrant chord stabs that bend and weave their way again the laid back percussions, he manages to bring a heighten energy to the original. When the beat eventually breaks, intricate arpeggios play out their melodies as a way to connect one hook to the other.
